Gaunt Pharm estate is where local children, students, professors, media, medics and landed marketing interests are locked in conflicting conspiracies to pervert land, animals and food resources. istortions of farming practices prove to be the indicators of steps to the financial re-configuration of humanity. Aboard a fleet of mystical dimensions; the sail clog, the steam boot, the high heel balloon, the welly plane and others; (Slipper Copter, Sandal Coach etc) And guided by the mysterious privet folk (the foot gypsies): Sootheen, Dubinney, Mayanna and Pogoon, they set about re-ordering catastrophe with the help (‘across later time...’) of willing spirits in the local university commercial pharmaceutical labs. Among their encounters are; the price cow, the limbless lamb, the needle pig dish, the radio head swan...and their omnipresent covert ally...the otter celt. The story champions the personal discovery, vision and inspiration of childhood; cherished by William Blake over the brutal, army-issue, government-stamped, lion-on-egg, pass-or-fail, press-baron, degree-mentalism sanctioned by Isaac Newton. Moving through nightmare environmental conclusions from mining village to farms through universities to supermarkets, the only defence and possible salvation is the stubborn imagination and spiritual context through which the kids perceive and combat the evils. Meanwhile, the 600,000 simultaneously wagging tongues of the giant omni-tongue-head-prototype proceed with re-dictating national and international supra-conciousnesses.. Vast panoplies of wreckage and perversion visited on the land, animals and on their very souls by satanic Californians who are the bankers and the dons lie ranged amid military-industrial complexities in this menace to salvation. |
